On average, physicians with KIS records ordered $800.00 to $1200.00 less in tests. Ordered tests were more specific and related to the final diagnosis more precisely. When records were available, many tests that would be unpleasant for the patient and take hours to perform were deemed unnecessary. KIS includes actual copies of doctor’s dictations and test results for the treating physician.
