    Company History
KARE Information Services (K.I.S.) Medical Record Solutions was founded by Dr. Martin H. Orens, a board certified M.D. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and a Diplomat of the American Board of Emergency Medicine. He also practices alternative health care and is a Physician Acupuncturist. Dr. Orens had recognized years ago a large gap in the patient-physician relationship. He saw the need for an inexpensive way to provide a complete and informative medical history to bridge this gap. The patient must accept his/her responsibility and become more involved in providing this information. They must also take control of the ever-increasing cost of their medical care.

"I have been a physician for the past twenty years. It is the rare occasion I can get a complete medical history from a patient. This is especially true in an emergency or when the patient has a significant, specific medical problem. Understandably, most feel too ill to answer all the questions, or they are incapable of doing so. Without the medical history and test results, doctors often order many duplicated tests. I developed the concept of K.I.S. Medical Record Solutions to answer all the questions, give complete care to my patients, and to stop duplicating and reordering so many expensive tests."
